Portability account deletion is available directly in the app under account/privacy controls. If you cannot access the app, email support@portabilityapp.net from the account email with the subject Delete Portability Account. Portability will verify the request and may require recent reauthentication to protect the account.
What deletion does
Deletion removes ordinary profile, contact, authentication, trip, preference, saved, social, product-access, and other non-retained account data; ends active sessions; disables public/member and Creator surfaces; and initiates deletion with activated providers where required. A verified parent can separately review, export, and delete a child's Kid's Corner information through parent controls.
Portability retains only records required for financial, tax, payout, refund/chargeback, fraud, dispute, child-safety, moderation, legal, compliance, reconciliation, and audit purposes. Financial and contract records remain for seven years, subject to any longer or shorter period required by applicable law; rights/support/moderation records remain for 24 months; security logs for 12 months; and diagnostics/raw store webhooks for 90 days, subject to a longer lawful hold or the final approved schedule. Retained records are restricted from ordinary product use and are not kept merely to market to the deleted account.
Before deleting
- Cancel Apple or Google subscriptions through the applicable store; deleting Portability does not automatically cancel a store subscription.
- Download desired travel, Creator, child-parent-library, or earnings information where available.
- Resolve or provide lawful instructions for pending bookings, refunds, commissions, payouts, KYC/tax holds, or disputes. Approved closure and earnings rules continue to apply.
Timing and confirmation
Portability will begin deletion after verification and remove ordinary account data from active systems within 30 days, subject to active transaction/dispute requirements, provider processing, and legally required retention. We will confirm completion or explain any lawful delay or retained record class.
